I would buy a Lone Wolf barrel and have MGP TiN. By far the least expensive option.
Plus, you can shoot the barrel first, make sure everything works for you first.

MGP TiN'ed a 1911 barrel for me. Fast turn around and cheap. I'd use him again.

Is it possible to TiN nitride a factory tenifer barrel? Or is it a no go?

I got a factory barrel with tenifer finish. (I got the European Glock with original tenifer finish).

MGprecision did one for me also.  I posted about it a while ago.  Nice work.
