Just ordered me a Gen 4 Glock 19 in full fde, picking it up tomorrow morning. I got rid of my one and only glock 19 a few months back and have regretted it ever since. Now that I am getting a new one, it will once again become my daily carry.

I'm just wondering how well the Cerakote has been holding up on these. I'm not going to mind wear, just curious as to their durabilty.

If this has been discussed, just point me in the right direction.

I've seen pics of some after months of being in and out of holsters. Theres gonna be noticeable wear. But I guess with the new finish on glocks its probably gonna be the same wear

Gonna show holster wear pretty quick and then it'll get to where it looks the same all the time.  I like some holster wear..

That's a good lookin' Glock.
I've been wanting a full FDE Gen4 19 too.

I snagged a USA made Georgia proofed Gen4 19 this morning.

I got a full FDE 23 a few weeks back and carry it most days. I noticed fast but shallow wear on the edges. It has stopped wearing so much after the first few marks.

I have a full fde gen 3 19, and I'm seeing front slide wear just from being drawn out of a kydex holster a few times.

I expected it, but it's still showing quicker than I thought.

Thanks for the replies. The holster wear will give it some character IMO.  Now only if my incog eclipse would hurry up and get here. Only a week in so far
