A while ago i purchased a 30s after shooting it for a couple of weeks, i had gunsmith install night sights and a ghost trigger. I have put about a hundred rounds or more through it flawlessly. Went to range a monthe ago and shot it again, a few times it fired and trigger did not reset after firing and cycling. Puzzled I put it away and when i got home i tore it down and cleaned and oiled it. I clean it everytime I shoot it. It cycles and resets fine without firing a round. Went to range again it did the same thing except I also had some slam fires where it fired more than one round per trigger pull. Any ideas of wht it could be? I am going to call ghost and return it to the gunsmithe next chance I get.

Check the trigger spring.

Take the ghost trigger out and put all of the factory parts back in.  Then see if it does the same thing.  You may have your answer.  There are quite a few good tutorial videos on you tube for Glock complete assembly and disassembly.  I would investigate the trigger spring and connector.  Also make sure the firing pin spring is good and the channel is dry and clean.  There should not be any oil or gunk in the firing pin channel.

There is going to be a common theme with every post replying to your question. Run the factory trigger. You never hear about these issues on the factory set up. If you want a better feel, learn to tweak factory issue parts. In the right combos, you can get pretty good trigger feel from the right combo of connector and trigger spring.

Or in the long run the better answer to accept the glock for what it is master the trigger as is and you will have no complaints

Letting a hacksmith install parts in your Glock is the cause of your woes.

The gunsmith has done some work on my other pistols and I have had no issues with them even though the round count on the others is greater. Tahnk you for the input now I have to remember where I put the factory parts the factory trigger felt spongy to me. The ghost trigger had a crisper break and shorter reset. I do believe it made a difference on rapid follow up shots. Plus this was my carry gun until the issue came about the second time.

I've been doing my own part installations on my firearms for years now.  I've done well enough over the years to where I've not needed to return my guns to the factory or dealing with so called "gunsmiths" here locally.

A heavier trigger reset spring would fix that.  I change all my Glocks to have the competition heavy trigger reset spring.  It drops a pound from the trigger pull and makes the trigger have a more positive reset while fixing the spongy clunk feeling of the stock setup.

If it is a ghost rocket then it needs a little more material taken off of the tab that you have to custom fit.  Look for the youtube fitting instructions, it is a piece of cake.  Otherwise put the factory parts back in.

True... which is also the reason it doesn't work now.   The shorter the reset is made, the closer it is to NOT resetting when it's supposed to.
