Hello ar15.com,
Just did a quick search and since I can only go back 30 days I'm a little stuck... I went to my local Gander Mountain today and say they have a Glock 22RTF in stock and in pretty good condition from what I could see just some minor holster wear. They are asking $499.99 for it and currently have a special of 10% everything including firearms so it would take it down to $450.... Is this a good deal? From what I have seen on GunBroker it is as most of them are starting or are currently at $500 or higher except for one that has recently ended which was at $425... I also have found a police trade on Buds for $379 (Corpus Cristi PD) after an FFL Transfer this would put the gun at exactly $399 and save me around $85 from taxes. So my main question is the RTF worth the extra $85? This will be used as a HD gun and also possibly in GSSF matches. Thanks for the help in advance! |
| If it has fish gills and RTF I would gladly pay $450 for it. RTF is great for matches and HD. Not so great for carry because the texture takes a toll on everything it rubs against including your skin. I shot a GSSF match in Florida last year in over 100 degree heat. I only wish my guns had been an RTF.... |
