What your seeing is simply "flashing" left-over from the frame-mold that is lightly coming into contact with the slide during the firing process (the front dust-cover flexing slightly) which is completely normal.  Early Glock's (1st and 2nd Generation) simply aren't as "pretty" or well finished internally as the 3rd Gen and later models.  Everything looks perfect in my opinion.  Good luck.

This looks normal to me.  Be more concerned if you see cracking of the plastic around the metal slide rails or they feel like a loose tooth.
