Which would you pick for training? I like the 22 kit as it lets me use my frame and lets me practice reloads (and malfunction clearance ) but I've heard the trigger doesn't have the same feel. Option 2 is a SIRT pistol which would let me adjust the trigger but it isn't actual live fire and the frame is different. I have my own range just a few minutes from my house so the laser loses a bit of value BUT it would still be great for demonstrating and teaching new shooters.
I guess option 3 is get both. Just FYI my current pistol is a G17. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I've had both and think either one will help.
If you're hopng to practice drawing and getting off the first shot, the SIRT makes it possible to do that any time day or night, and there's no spending money on ammo. It's easy and fast, and you can "shoot" so much without having to load mags. I think you'll be happy either way, but I am really liking the SIRT (thouh I don't have a free, private range nearby). |
