| I just read on another Forum that Glock was coming out with a optics ready pistol (Leupold Deltapoint Pro). Anyone else read or heard about this? |

right after the single stack glock and carbine. ![]() You're probably right, but I hope not. I attended the Glock Armorer Course earlier this year and the Instructor said that the single stack 9mm was coming. I can't say that I've ever heard anything more than wishful thinking about the Glock carbine. |

People are willing to spend close to the price of a complete Glock for a stripped Atom slide. Also S&W thought it was worth it. But I don't see Glock being that forward thinking. |

How many has S&W sold? How many slides has Atom? Ive yet to see a RDS on a handgun outside of action shooting sports. How many open class shooters uses Glock for their open guns? |

You haven't been paying attention, then. |

Special Ops units overseas are using them. As for the Optics-ready Glocks - it was talked about during SHOT 2014....they will be featured at SHOT 2015.....that comes from a person in the know at Glock. |

Does a single large police force issue or even allow handguns with RDS? |

They just program the CNC machine to mill the mounting surface after it mills the rear sight dovetail. Just like adding a factory threaded barrel, there is no real cost or development involved. |
