Been thinking about a Glock carbine kit to do as an SBR for one of my Glock 9mm's. I see a couple brands, but which ones are decent? I have zero experience with any of them, haven't even see one in person.
I saw the Hera Triarii and it looks seemingly well made and functional, until I realized the handguard does not allow a suppressor to fit inside. So I guess that's my criteria. Quality manufacture, suppressor capable. Does this exist? |

I knew what you meant, I just haven't heard anything positive about the conversions kits. If you go with the Sig brace you don't have to worry about the SBR |

Seems like a nice alternative to a tax stamp. |

Glock SBRs are fun. |

People make waaay too big of a deal about the stamp. Yeah, for an extra 30 days and $75 over the Sig Brace I can have a real SBR. Can I buy the KPOS with a regular AR style folding stock in place of the brace? The only ones ive seen in my limited googling have been some weird skinny stock. |

KPOS g2 pistol. Extension can fold left or right. Muzzle port is big enough to hold most suppressors. No tax stamp. Blast to shoot. Not as cool as the wire folding stock, but who cares? It's fun to shoot. No paperwork, no hassle. Can take G19, G18, G17, G21, G22. |

Glock SBRs are fun. Not all of us have the freedom to own SBRs To that, I have to say: 1. Don't live in a state that doesn't respect you. 2. It's not germane to this thread; the OP is looking for SBRs. The carbine kits can reduce reliability from what I've read. One thing to keep in mind with Glock SBRs is limp wristing. Normally with a pistol you push out, with a rifle you pull in. The malfunctions I've read about may be due to this, I don't know. I can tell you that I've had perfect reliability with the stock, and I like that it still feels like a Glock. Plus, the cost... |
