Anybody have experience with Glock factory adjustable sights?
Thinking about getting some. Thanks |

They suck. Adjustment is very course. The sight picture is cluttered (black outline, white lines, black void around that, etc.). They are plastic- mine still has flash in the notch. Anyone who needs the precision of an adjustable sight could (and should) do a lot better than the Glock one.
Compared to the great sights on the XD-M 5.25 and the good sights on the M&P Pro, Glock has really let the G34 down with the crappy stock sights. |
| As a counter opinion, I have the Glock Adjustable Sights on my Glocks and they work for what they are intended for me. Generally doing GSSF matches, have done some USPSA, Steel Challenge, they work. I am not looking for micro precision, just do not like to adjust point of aim if the stock fixed is a bit off. Yes, if you want precision and quality, the Glock Adjustables are not what you want. |

I have had a Glock factory adjustable sight on my old, 2nd Gen G21 for almost 20 years. This is not the one that hangs over the back of the slide, it was the one after that one. For me, the sight picture looks just like a factory fixed rear sight. While I have never really abused the gun, it was used as my duty gun from the day I bought it. I have used it to demonstrate racking the slide off of a table several times, not a single problem. The sight adjustments are coarse and, when you get right down to it, I don't really consider them adjustable at all for how poor the adjustments are. However, they just work, just like the factory fixed sights. Not really my first choice, but they work fine.
