I'm looking to get the frame of a G34 done and can't decide who to use.Price is a fairly mute point as they are all close and I don't want half assed work anyway LOL.Id say My biggest concern is the turn around time of the work being completed

I'm looking to get a full stipple/finger groove removal/grip reduction

What kind of turn around  time does the glock store have on frame work?  As much as I'd like to use boresight a 4 month minimum of them having my handgun is too much for me.

I have never had any work done on a frame.  At one time I thought about it and started to look around for a competent shop to send it to.  Based on what I found, if I were to send my frame off for work, it would more than likely be Coldbore Customs.  His work looks very clean and keeps the frame as close to original as possible.

Just my thoughts.

I hear The Glock Guy does a fantastic job with stippling and triggers and everything Glock.

Have been very pleased with Pike @Mod 1 Firearms out of Kentucky.

SSVi LLC probably does some of the the best work in the business right now.  Yes I know the owner and no I have no affiliation with the company.

Quality work takes time and I do not think that 4 months is too long if you don't want "half-assed" work.

I've had two frames done by cold bore - a 17 to a 19 reduction and chop and a g21 reduction . Fantastic work and I am gVing him do a 22 to a 23 FDE chop and reduction . I highly recommend - and without any reservation - Cold Bore Customs.

I was looking at a local place that is VERY famous for doing gun work.
For JUST stippling, is $175-200 a bit high?  I thought average was like $75-125.
I may just do it myself to help guarantee I get it as aggressive as I want on most of it, but a bit smoother on the right side.

Hey Paul Bunyan, with as much chopping as your doing wouldn't it be worth it to just buy the size you want in the first place?

Slow your roll, junior!  I prefer the longer sight radius with the slightly shorter grip on the G19/23 models. They carry easier than thier full size model and I prefer them that way. The G21 is a gen 4 model and the reduction (no chop) took just enough off of it to fit my hand perfectly.

Based on some comments, I can see that chops / reductions are not for everyone but I really like the work CBC did for me. Finally, as an FYI . I have gen 4 g17, g19, g26 that I plan on leaving as is. The 17 has a medium size beaver tail on it (factory) that I like.

I've had a few guns worked over by Pike at MOD 1.  Great work and attention to detail.
