What should I pay for one?

Don't know how many rounds have been through it, but it looks new.

The guy was asking $500. I offered to swap him a gen 3 23C, but he wouldn't do an even swap.

He didn't say how much he'd take for the swap plus some money. It was a dealer at a gun show.

I've always wanted a RTF2, but just wasn't sure what it's worth.

The 22s and 23s are cheaper then the 17s and the 19 is the most valuable.  550 for an 22rtf sounds about right.

I just bought a G22 rtf.  Paid $470. Looks like new.
I would love to find a 17.

My dad picked up a plain gen 3 G17 today for $400.

I wasn't really looking for a pistol today. Was looking for a 300blk upper, but the prices were ridiculous and all they had were 16" barrels. I want a 12".

I just happened to come across the RTF and wasn't sure if they were worth more than a typical Glock. Guess it doesn't really matter now, since I didn't get the guys name or number.

He is asking way too much.

Remember Like new is still not new

On jgsales you can buy a 22 gen4 police trade with night sights for under 400. You still have the same issue of not knowing how many rounds but at least with most officers they shoot to qualify and thats it. And there is usually slight holster wear.

SOG has them for dealers at a good price.

Wrong. 22's and 17's are most common rtf2 models. Hence most common models carried by LEO. But yes 19 and 23 hold some value. Along with large value of the 23c and 22c. I would say the rtf2 19 with gills is the most sought after though. For a 22 rtf2 I wouldn't pay more than $550 in like new condition. The 22 is the most common of the bunch.

No he's not.  It's an RTF2, not a gen 4.  They don't make RTF2 anymore, so if you want one, like new is as good as it gets.

If it is in good shape, he will get $500 for it pretty easily.
