Which threaded barrel? > Glock

Need help picking a G19 barrel.

Im between a Storm Lake ($180) and AAC ($219)

The AAC barrel is made by Storm Lake.

The difference in price would probably be because of the nitride coating on the AAC barrel and maybe the included thread protector.

In general, for Glock barrels, I go factory if available and Lone Wolf for most. If you want a potentially better barrel, I like Storm Lake and as mentioned, KKM.

I went with the Storm Lake on my G30 - and I'm very happy with it.

Very accurate - perfect fit, and comes with a thread protector.

Why not get a Lone Wolf blackened stainless one for less than either of those.

That's what I've been running for years in my G17. Well, it's a Gemtech branded barrel, but they are just LWD's in different packaging.

There is one in the EE for 160 shipped, hasn't even sold as Glock now sells G19's with factory threaded barrels.

I bought a Storm Lake for my 17 during a sale at Midway, and I'm plenty satisfied with it. After reading some very high praise of Wilson Combat barrels for M&Ps and Glocks, I will likely give one of those a try next.
