| Guys what are your thoughts on the 41? I got a 34 gen 4, 30s and a 22. Just never seen the 41 in person. |
| I picked one up last thursday. I put 350 rounds through it this weekend. I really like the way it handles. I can tell it recoils slightly more than my 21 gen 4. Thats no surprise due to the lighter weight slide. I believe it's 3 oz. lighter than the 21 slide. Overall it ran flawlessly and was plenty accurate (more accurate than ill ever be). |

OK - I'm back from the range. Not enough time to do any conclusive testing - but here are my thoughts on the first time shooting the G41...
It seems to be a accurate gun - even with the stock trigger, it would group well at 25 yards. With some trigger work, this will be a great full size carry gun or IDPA gun. Shooting it back to back with my Gen4 G30, they both shoot very well - my G30 has a threaded Storm Lake barrel in it, and it was just as accurate at 25 yards. The felt recoil seems a little lighter in the G30 - not dramatically lighter, but enough to notice. The only thing I've done to the G30 (other than the barrel) is the 25cent trigger job, and the smoother trigger pull does help. So - a little trigger smoothing is the next thing on the list for the G41 - and both the G41 & G30 will need better sights! While the full test is yet to come, the G41 meets my expectations so far. Take care, Bob S. |

The 41 will be my next Glock. I just wish they would have released a 10mm the same size. I hadn't thought about this until you mentioned it, but im sure they will, I mean why not! Rumors are already starting to fly about the G42 getting a caliber upgrade to 9mm. |

I'm afraid they may have skipped it this time. Or maybe it was the Glock 40, but they decided not to put it into production for whatever reason. |

The G20 was designed for the 10mm - that's why the slide is the size/weight it is. After the G20 was designed, Glock took that pattern and modified it to a 45 ACP. The think the thinner/lighter slide of the G41 will prevent a 10mm version (just like I doubt there will ever be a G29S). Good shooting, Bob S. |

You would think some company would make an aftermarket long slide assembly for Gen4 in 10mm. I bet there are quite a few people who would buy that. |

They'll work on a gen 4, but there is a big gap between the dust cover and slide. |

On the other hand, if you want a long slide 10MM on a Gen4 frame TODAY - it's the best game in town. If anyone has it - I'd be interested in seeing a picture of the LW Long Slide on a Gen4 20/21 frame. I'd like to see how the gap looks - I think it would be less eye catching with the extended slide. Happy Friday to all, Bob S. |

So what are the chances that someone will make a threaded barrel and suppressor height sights for the 41? I asked Storm Lake about it since I have one of their barrels for my G30 that I like a lot. They said they had no plans at this time, but put me on a contact list if that changes. I'd suggest e-mailing them - if enough do, it might hurry them along. Another G41 owner said KKM told him they WILL be making one soon - maybe this Summer. I'm sure someone WILL do it - it's just a matter of time. Take care, Bob S. |

41 was my first Glock and now I have the bug. Im looking at getting a 30s as well http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa273/kobradot/GLOCKzombiekiller_zps6021b154.jpg I have both. Do get the 30s it is a worthy addition. The .45 ACP Glocks are the best pistols in the line IMO. |
