| I have a chance to buy a Gen2 21, guy says he is the 2nd owner, has 200rds through it himself, gun appeared to be a safe queen when he got it, it has been sent back to Glock and refurbished, comes with the box and one mag, he wants $400 for it, should I jump on it or let it go by. Thanks |

PD trade in originally? LGS here sells PD trade Gen 2 G21s for like $445 and they go fast when they have them.
Personally, since new ones are $500, I wouldn't buy one of the ones from my LGS. But if this one is in good shape and you like the Gen 2 frame, $400 for a good condition used Glock isn't bad. |

Three things I'd check, first: (1) The amount of rebate on the front of the chamber mouth. In many of the early G-21's the rebate is excessive. (2) If this Glock has, in fact, been factory refurbished then it should have the newer (and far less dangerous) #4256-1 trigger bar. (3) Is it a 90 degree non-LCI; or the newer, improved, 15 degree LCI extractor? Buying any new Glock is always something of a, 'crapshoot'. It's the, 'luck of the draw'; and some Glocks simply work better than others. If you're going to buy an older Glock you're (generally) better off purchasing an early to mid-range serial number, third generation pistol.
