| Appendix carry or 3 O'clock? |
|
Quoted:
Duluth plumbers shirts with 3 inches of extra length work great. Although IMO they don't hold up that well, fade easily. I was thinking of picking up a few of these. I wish someone made a good assortment of shirts designed for this. 5.11 makes a few but I'm not that crazy about the colors or the pattern design.. |

I too would buy some if it weren't for those patterns. They scream tourist. Which IMO marks you in some areas. If you get the duluth shirts I recommend going with the trim fit, and I'm a bigger guy. They're cut a hell of a lot better. Also wait until they have a shipping special, their costs are high. |

Appendix carry is what the cool kids are doing at the moment. Personally, It scares the crap out of me because there is a good chance you are pointing a loaded gun at your femoral artery when you draw. If it works for you go for it.
I have been carrying my 30S a good bit lately. I just acquired a Mitch Rosen USD, which is my favorite style holster, for it, and I carry it at 4:00. |

Still, using a weapon in good condition, i.e. not a fucking Jimenz. and being very conscientious about what the fuck you are doing, I think its a good way to maintain positive control of the weapon in any sort of scuffle. |
