Any pros to install the smooth g17 trigger in a G19?

I do shoot a lot but most times I have gloves on so I don't worry about getting my finger tips sore, but are there any other benefits?

Sorry, I have no answer for you but I have been thinking about doing the same thing. I hate the feel of the G19 trigger with the ridges. I feel like a flat G17 trigger would help with my trigger pull, at least psychologically. I am definitely going to do it but my question is, is it an easy switch? Can a gun novice do it?

Working on glocks is very easy. Just watch a YouTube video or two. A trigger swap is a piece of cake

I did it with my 19s, just for consistency's sake; same feel in both my 17s and 19s now.

I have a gen 3 g17 "smooth" trigger and trigger bar (oem) in my tacticool gen 4 g19. I have almost a thousand rounds through this trigger. No issues. Make sure you buy the glock oem trigger bar and trigger. It comes as 1 complete piece.

Main reason I did it. Smooths out some of the grit in the gen 4 trigger due to that bump on the connector. And the smooth face on the trigger is much more comfortable to shoot

I consider it a must have mod on my Glocks.  Serrated triggers are icky.

Anyone got a video that shows how to change them out? I'm getting a Glock 19 gen 3 soon and would like the smooth trigger.

I just did mine Friday night on my Gen 4 G19. Very easy to do. Drive a couple pins, remove, replace, reassemble. I just YouTube'd "Glock trigger swap".

I really like the feel of the new trigger itself, but the pull does feel a little grittier. Hoping it smooths with use (gun had several thousand through it prior to the swap).
