Has anybody tried to use the baseplate from a 10-round Glock 30 magazine on a Glock 29?

I've never owned a G30, so here's my underlying assumptions:

  1. G29 and G30 magazine dimensions are the same (except for feed lip differences)

  2. The G30 extended baseplate simply adds +1 capacity to what would just be a 9-round magazine without it.

I don't see why I couldn't be rocking a OEM G29 mag, with a OEM G30 baseplate, and gain another round or two in so doing. Any thoughts or knowledge on this?

Nope. The OEM 9 rd is different than the 10 rd.

Ah, well there you have it. It looks like I'll have to go aftermarket for added capacity then.
