Bought this G19 a while back and was curios about it. It is an all Austrian Glock but does not have the import marks on it.

Can anyone tell me about it?

Posted about it a while back but forgot about it and now have the pics.

I'm not too sure either, but I do know its unusual to find glocks with the austrian proofs on them like this pistol.
Nice gun BTW

(IIRC) A while back (mid 2000's) Glock US was unable to keep up with demand for the pistols. They imported a good amount from Austria to fill in the gaps. If I remember correctly, this happened a couple times, the most recent being around 2008/2009. My last AU gun was made in Jan 2009 and purchased around May 2009

Thanks for the replies. Was just curious about the lack of import marks. Not that I think it's special but was curious. It shoots like the others..

There should at least be one import mark on the frame for when it went to Georgia, but that should be it.
