| I ordered a blue label (LEO) gen 4 21 about 3 months ago and the LGS says they have no idea when it will arrive. They first quoted about 3 weeks when I placed the order. Is Glock still that far behind or do blue label orders just take a lot longer? |

have no idea?
I do know that I want a G20 SF pistol...and there seems to be plenty new ones online at places like Gun-broker and Guns America etc. However the more local stores I called all said they've had them and sold-out..have to order one and couldn't promise an arrival date. An FFL acquaintance of mine did some calling of the distributors...and found me one. So Glock 20 ordered yesterday (1-24-14)...and expected arrival sometime next week. We'll see just how long it takes. My FFL friend said the distributor he ordered it from was a small operation and not renowned for fast shipping(but the Glock was in stock)...
I imagine the blue label Glock is a hot commodity..if the gunstore ordered from a distributor who ordered more from Glock..the wait could be horrendous!

Don't know what part of OH your in, but the ones I've ordered I. the last year were all right at 6 months. I'm ok with that since they are priced well below wholesale. I ordered from Target World. I despise that place but for some reason I always come crawling back. |
| I started a thread about this a few weeks ago but with GT Distributors for a blue label 26, was told "we don't know" when asked how long and then he said could be 6 weeks, could be 6 months. Does glock only make one model at a time in batches or are there multiple machines making multiple models each day? I still don't see why they couldn't put an extra mag in one of the boxed and slap a blue label on and send it off to the dealer. I'm a VFF, not a LEO depending on it, and I don't "need" it in a hurry but it still sucks knowing I could go to my LGS and pick one up albeit it would run $599+. |

They make guns in batches, probably based on current orders from distributors. If they put their order in before you did, what makes you think they should just slap an extra mag and a blue label on it, and send it to you instead of the people/companies already in line? |

If I wanted one, I would be delighted to know my LGS had one. Either you can be cheap and wait, or just go buy the damn thing and not agonize over it any longer. |

In this case I think the wait is worth it. The blue label is still one of the best deals running, and 3-6 months is about right. Hang in there, and you'll be glad you did. All guns got short with the panic and they are still catching up. My LGS had a long list for Glocks of all kinds, especially G19s. I think Glock is still catching up on orders and my blue label dealer told me they are still trickling in albeit slowly. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
