So I picked up both a 17 Gen 3 and a 19 Gen 4 about 3-4 months ago.
Immediately loved the 17...accurate and it just fit into my hand.
Struggled with the 19, couldn't figure out where to carry it so I could carry it and draw comfortably, I was always shooting left once I moved back to about 7 yard...just been struggle and was getting frustrated...

So I took a few days off this week to get ready for our holiday visitors and whatnot and I took the 17 and 19 out again and really tried to figure out what I was doing wrong with the 19....I realized that it simply wasn't in the right place on my hip so my hand wasn't seating in the right spot...then I realized I was getting the right on the knuckle of my finger which was pushing the gun left when I pushed it...I put on the bigger blackstrap which lengthen out my finger so I was pushing the trigger with the pad of my finger, but I still struggled with the draw until I put on the large blackstrap with the beavertail....which put my hand right where it needed to be.

I'm glad I kept at it..and I see much more paper getting killed over the years.
Thanks for reading.

I was always frustrated when shooting my dads glock because it always hit to the left for me.  Then once I bought my own and it too shot to the left I realized it was me. Too little trigger finger. Now I shoot both like laser beams

Nice to know I'm not the only who struggled with it
