I was wondering if keeping night sights in the dark, like a pack, affects the sights any. Specifically trijicon HD sights. I have them on my glock 19 and it usually lives in my pack that I bring with me where ever I go. I carry my 26, which will soon be wearing a pair of HD's, so that is why the 19 stays in the pack. (Figured someone would ask why it lives in a pack).
So basically, does long periods of darkness affect the life of night sights? |
