I don't know about the Korean mags, but Natchez has factory GLOCK mags on sale for $25 and free shipping right now. Now is a good time to get some more factory mags. Use coupon code T1103500 for the free shipping. Thank You very much! I just bought 8 mags on sale and the free shipping is real sweet. |
| I bought a few to use as range mags for my 17. Some don't drop free, some don't lock the slide back when empty. They all feed perfect. I think I paid 6$ for 17 roinders and $13 for the 33 rounders. At those prices they were a good deal the they went up with the panic, not sure if they came back down...... |

I bought some of the KCI mags (15-rd) recently when I saw them on sale at centerfiresystems.com. All have worked fine but as others have said I'll use the KCI units for range use and use my Glock factory mags for carry.
I did mark the KCI mags with some white nail polish so that they are visibly different from the Glock units. BK |
| They were a good buy for range mags when they were under $10. I've had no problems with my G19 mags; one or two of the G17 mags and a couple of the G18 mags needed to be cleaned up. Just open them and clean up any flashing, particularly on the follower. I don't think the springs are quite as strong as factory Glock mags, but you can buy either factory Glock springs or Wolff springs; I've replaced the spring in one of my G18 mags and it runs fine now too. |

I bought a (4) of them years ago when they were on sale for $5.99. I bought them for range use only and put orange base plates on them. I had some issues at first but the more I used them the issues disappeared. None of them drop free from my G17 or G19. Recently I replaced all the Glock mag spring with Wolff +10% springs. I tried one of the Wolff springs in the KCI mags and could not get it to clip into the follower. I put the Glock springs in the KCI mags and they fit/work fine. I tried using a #6 Glock follower in my KCI mags but it looked like it came up too far so I took it out and put the KCI follower back in. If these came up that cheap again I would most likely purchase some more. Again, these are for range use only. |

i have some KCI mags that a friend gave me when he got rid of his glock 17. i think ran them 1 time at the range, i cant remember them being an issue.
now, promag? i bought 2 g23 mags one time. when i tested them empty they were fine, but when i loaded them up and tried to cram them, they didnt want to go up the mag well. they expanded when full. they also had just as difficult time being stripped from the magwell. returned those, and factory is all i buy now. |
| My KCI mags run flawlessly. I have the 15, 17, and 33 rounds 9mm mags. Yes I had to cut alittle plastic on the mold from the inside and right where they feed and yes the springs are tight when you first get them. Leave them loaded for a couple of days and the springs really loosen. If need then just replace the springs with glock factory or Wolff springs. Still cheaper than factory mags. All of my 15 and 17 rounders I bought when they had them for $5.99 ea. |

| I have about 8 G17 Koran mags that work perfectly with zero failures. The springs seem kind of cheap.. I would say the mags were loaded and fired about 20 times each before I replaced with new Glock springs. With the Glock springs installed I would say the mags are very close to OEM Glock mags. |

I have used the Korean mags in both my carbines and my pistols without issues. My G17 does fine with them. My JRC does fine with them while my ASR didn't like the 33 round ones as much until I upgraded the springs with Wolf +5%. Now all is well in all my firearms.
If I have my choice for best quality I would go with the Glock. If I could buy the Korean mags cheap I will not hesitate to pick some up for range work and play. |
