Hello all

I have a puzzling mag problem.

Two of my glock 30 ten rd mags are causing FTF with the last or second to last rd.

I changed the springs and followers in both and still have the same problen with two different glock 30's.

Now these mags are the older ones that have the follower marked 3955 and the older style springs.

Any Ideas why I would still have the same problem after changing the followers and springs?

It's not the gun because I have used two different glock 30 's with the same result.

And the does'nt cause cause the ftf because all my other mags work fine.

They may just become strictly range mags to practice slap rack and shoot drills.

Your feed lip geometry might be off a little. Call Glock, see what they'll do for you.

Is this with a 30S?

My 30S has similar problems with mags that my 30SF does not.

No It's two of my oldest mags that use the old style followers and springs. And I have been using  them with with a glock 30 gen 3 and a glock 30 Gen 4.
They were fine until a couple months ago and I strated to have FTF only with those two mags so I changed the mag springs and followers but it didn't help.
Are you have problems with new mags or what. Some one I talked to said they had a glock30s that was finicky with ammo so he started to use a hotter load and it's been fine.

FTFs with some 9 & 10 round mags that are about 3 to 4 years old - 5 out of 10 of my range mags.
