Has anyone sent a Glock back for refurbishing? I just purchased my issue G35 and it needs an an update and re-finishing.

Go to a local GSSF match and allow the armorer to update the pistol as you watch. Would not go for a refinish unless it was really abused, then it is worth the factory treatment.
