Here is a question that maybe some one can shed a light on. Went to the indoor range today shooting my G20sf, with reloaded ammo using Blue Dot and 180 Grain Remington FMJ. I shot my Lone Wolf barrel and all hits were center on the bottom of the 10 ring, after firing 15 rounds 3 groups of 5 shots, I changed out to my Storm Lake barrel. The next 15 rounds were about the 3 o'clock position in the 9 ring. I was using a B34 target with the red center.
Any idea on why the different POI between the two different barrels? Nothing else was changed and this weapon has had several hundred rounds through it. |
| Each barrel has its own "identity." No two bbls are are the same and it's up to you to figure out how each one shoots. Just because they both have different POI doesn't mean one or the other is defective per se. No barrel is a "drop in" part and cannot be expected to perform the exact same way as the part/barrel it replaced. |

As the others have said, you're talking about two different barrels, from two different manufactures who use their own metal blends and manufacturing methods. I'm also curious if you've compared these two barrels to your Glock factory one just to see how they all differ.

| I like all of the barrels that I have and what is being passed on makes sense. I am getting ready for a course and was checking loads in both barrels. One shot better then the other, but both did good. I did find that the one barrel that shot to the right, likes heavier bullets. Guess that will be my field carry barrel. |
