Need a little help.

I just received a G19 that is, unbeknownst to me at the time, has all the Austrian proof marks on it.

Just need some info on it. I googled it but could not find any info.

The barrel, slide, and frame are all marked with the double eagle and proof marks as well as a serial number starting HDL***. The only thing that confuses me is that the other Ausian marked frames have something about Smyrna GA on the trigger guard. Well mine does not. Does anyone have one that is like this?

Again, just trying to figure it out as I am pretty new to the Glock world and was curious about my new gun.

I have a 3 austrian import and a 2.

G3 19's came in around 2008-2009 when they were not able to keep up with demand out of the Smyrna plant.

I have seen a lot of 19's several 17's and recently a Gen4 Austrian proofed 22.

They are out there

They have been building the frames in country for years and assembling guns, thus these would have no import marks as they came in as parts and put together in Georgia.

The full 100% USA built guns are new since end of 2012 and say USA on the slide instead of Austria

A proofmarked gun would be one 100% assembled in Austria and imported. They also have different markings on the frame, most notably "Glock Inc, Smyrna Ga" stamped under the trigger guard

The only problem I see with the 08-09 gun is mine is serial numbered with HDL and according to what I found, that it was then made in 98? My gun does not have the Glock inc, Smyrna GA stamped on the trigger guard.

As I said, i will post the pics tonight to get home.

Thnaks for the help.
