I know I've seen this somewhere, but I'm looking for a flush base that has a toe that sticks forward, to prevent the gun from recoiling out of your hands.

GAP. But I thought they only made them for the 26/27 size guns/mags.

I have them on my 27. I like them. But its a good idea that could have been executed better.

They're really well designed. I don't see how to improve on them, other than to offer them for more models.

Exactly what I wanted. To bad they don't make them for the G30.

Pierce makes one for the G30... at least they did.  I have one on my 9 round mag.

im skeptical that such a base plate has any effect on recoil.

Not sure it will help with recoil, might want to double check to ensure you have a proper grip.... not always easy on the baby Glocks!

I have big hands and my ring finger is being crowded off the grip. Shooting +p ammo and it feels like it wouldn't take much for the gun to fly out of my hand. Even just holding the gun feels like I need something to help with retention.

I use Glock factory +2 floor plates on my G26, and they work great with my bigger hands. I also have a few mags setup with the GAP floor plates for my wife & daughter, they prefer them to the +2's because with smaller hands they'll occasionally get a finger pinch using the +2's.
