Went to the range this morning with the standard 17LB and a set of 19 and 21
LB springs. The 19 cycled well but the 21 LB was too strong and was keeping the outer Wolff guide rod from seating in the end of the slide. I did try it a few times and cycled well, but I was concerned about the rod not seating and catching on the slide. The 19 LB spring cycled well, as far as telling the difference between the 19 and the standard 17, every so slight. I think I will stay with the 19. If you have tried a higher spring weight in the 30/S, feedback would be great. 77 |
