Thought I'd give it a shot on my own and it turned out pretty good in my opinion.

Ugh.  It's your gun to do with as you please, but like I've said in pretty much every other instance this topic has come up, it looks butchered/ruined.  But, if you're happy with it and you never plan to sell it or have a change of heart towards the modification, more power to you.

Some would argue a better grip. Especially with the finer slot closet to the grip but personally I like the look of it. The idea comes from Salient Arms International and I just really likes the way it looked.

I like it. I did the undercut trigger guard too. I actually got a blister on my middle finder from shooting a lot in a day. Now it's much more comfortable.

I'd like to see a larger opening in the trigger guard. Use of gloves is near impossible.

Cool, so you can get you week hand higher. Makes sense to me.

Have you noticed any difference in the rigidity of the frame? I'm wondering if a light would affect it.

You could notch it out the rest of the way and plastic-weld a Magpul triggerguard in its place.

Channel the nubs and drill it for pin holes, might as well make it removable.

It's just a Glock, make it your own.  I undercut the trigger guards and removed the finger grooves on mine also.  They still have the wrong grip angle, but they work much better than they previously did.
9/26/2013 7:07:11 AM EDT

OP, you can get away with going a bit deeper on the undercut and then get rid of the finger grooves.  The grooves still keep you hand too low.

I've got my 19 like that and it does more for you than you think. When I shoot my other glocks that I haven't done this to yet I can really tell the difference in how much of a better grip I can get on the pistol with the mods done to it.

Yeah a Dremel and then some clean up with fine grit sandpaper and just a little bit of wet sanding.

On my 17, due to the full size grip, I needed a smige taken off the trigger guard. -  So I used a dowel and sandpaper and took my time.

On my 23, due to the compact grip. I needed much more taken off - I used a dremel with 120 drum, then 400 and 600 grit sandpaper on a dowel. I also profiled the edge off to be more comfortable.

also killed the grooves

That looks fantastic.  If it weren't for the slight discoloring it would look like it came from the factory that way.

black shoe polish will clean it up, but rubs off after a day at the range.

I'm considering dying the whole frame (stripped of course) in black rit dye to make it uniform..... might actually do that this weekend.

The finger groves don't bother me much but I'm working up the courage to do the undercut trigger guard which I sorely need to do.

I'm thinking do the rough out with the 120 grit drum then I'm thinking of a very thin layer of epoxy on some 400 grit paper over the drum so I can continue with the dremil working up to the 600.

I'm thinking if I go easy Im hoping the glue would not get hot and transfer to the weapon or make a mess.

Should just use a wooden dowel and elbow grease?

I think the glue would get hot and cause problems.

Use a Dremel and be careful and steady then come back and wet sand it with 320 grit or so and it should be perfect. Worked out well for me at least.
