Which Glock 30? > Glock

If you were in the market for a new off duty(or glock 30 in general) carry gun which would you get?

On duty 21sf... But I also personally own a 21Gen4.

Probably the gen 4.

I'm digging the grip texture.

In my dreams, they'd make a 30s RTF to match my 21.

Gen4 G30....
Loving the beavertail backstraps and larger mag release button, as well as the more aggressive texture.

Well I went and handled both. I'm really a Gen4 fan! But the gen4 30 didn't win me over. I went with the 30S. It just felt so much better in my hands(not that the gen4 didn't). The 30s just felt more balanced to me. I think this will be my edc until the 30S gen4 makes its way out.

I like the way my 30 Gen 2.5 handles recoil and fits my hand. I'd think there would be no disadvantage to a 30 Gen 4. I would like to compare the recoil of a S model. I really wouldn't be looking for more recoil. 4 less ounces, who knows.

That's what I really truly want... So I figure once that comes out I'll eventually trade it in for a gen4.

30s is a perfect fit for me hands down..don't get caught up in reading the specs. They seem minimal and are but get them side by side and feel the difference for yourself, you will see!!!

The multiple Back Strap system insures it will fit your hand, which is mighty important with .45 recoil.

the 30S doesn't have snappy recoil. I shoot as good if not better with the 30S compared to my 21.

My brother has both and I shoot them often. He bought the Gen4 first, and I thought that was as good as a G30 was going to get, until he got the 30S. I love the Gen4 frames, but that slim slide is where it's at. I have a Gen4 G21, and will wait for the Gen4 30S. I would love to see a Gen4 G21S.
