First off, I would like to say that I own several Beretta's, an HK USP, several Glock's, and a Sig and enjoy shooting them all.  One of them is an early Glock 19 I purchased NIB in '93 and is a Gen 2 with the single trigger pin.  I put a shit ton of ammo through the gun (6-7k), with the only issue being some Spanish surplus 9mm shit ammo, light primer strikes.  All other ammo was chewed up and spit out.  Great gun, but I kinda lost interest with all of the other stuff in my toy box.

I love to shoot all of my guns, but have had an itch for an HK P30 / P30L for a while and headed to my local shop today to talk myself into picking one up.  As I was there drooling, I noticed a NIB 19 Gen 3 sitting there and asked to put my XL's on it. I couldn't believe how different it felt compared to my Gen2 and how well it fit into my hand.   It was on sale and well over $400 cheaper than the HK.

Next thing that I know, 4473 filled out. credit card swiped, and me smiling from ear to ear as I walk to my truck with my new Glock in my hand... I am very pleased.

Nice. Have heard people say the same thing when going from gen 3 to a Gen 4 for the first time as well. The 4s are not approved for sale in Komifornia so I've yet to handle one.
