| Anybody have one?How do you like it?I'm thinking of getting one but I can seem to locate one,any suggestions would be appreciated. |

I've got a gen4, it's most excellent!
Fun to shoot, not fun to feed ammo... pricey and it can be a little difficult to find. I got an early gen4 after seeing a review online, it took me a couple of weeks to realize they were blue label guns. Local dealer had me one in a few days after realizing it was only available as a blue label. I'd think your LGS should be able to locate one in a reasonable amount of time. ~g |

| Well,no luck at any of the local shops,I'd probably rather order it online anyway to avoid the 9.8% sales tax.Have there been any significant changes to the gen 4 outside the obvious gen 4 stuff?I can find G20sf models all over,I wouldn't be using a back strap on the gen 4 anyway. From what I've read, they redesigned the bbl and the RSA on the gen 4 g20,sound right? |

Don't you have to be a member for a year before you can buy a blue label gun? |

Thanks,I've never been a big GB fan,but it looks like I might go that way if nothing turns up shortly. |

My little gen4 collection http://i.imgur.com/8OxW9l8.jpg The last I shot out the 10 was underwood 200gr xtp Talk about nuclear Nice.Do you use a heavier recoil spring for the stout rounds? |

blue label is now, fire, emt, RN , doctors, law enforcement, judges, security guards, corrections, military and retired military. GSSF will get a card every year they can turn in for a discounted glock but the price is not the same as the before mentioned. Normally about $40 more. Blue label glocks 3rd and 4th gen are $399 set by glock- with night sights $444.
Now days anyone can get a blue label it would seem. That is why resale value of glocks have tanked. but you can get police trade glocks for around $330 |

Stock RSA should be fine, the hot stuff is generally the carry ammo... an carry ammo is generally $$.$$ so I'm not sure how much of it you actually plan to shoot. During a normal range visit I'll shoot a couple of hundred rounds, and maybe a magazine or two of my carry ammo. Try and shoot my carry ammo on a monthly basis!
Congrats on the purchase! ~g |

Check out Underwood Ammo for full power 10mm. The Gen4 "2-stage" recoil spring assembly is a little more forgiving with hot loads (less forgiving with weak crap). Ive shot everything from the 40 power (actually mostly that) to the full bore, with the stock setup. No jams, just great accuracy |

Have a Gen 3 20 that is mostly stock other than the trigger parts. Got an order in for a blue label G-29 Gen 4. Hope to hear Tuesday when they may have it in. |

I'm not sure what the weight on the stock spring is but if you're shooting full power loads I wouldn't hesitate to put a heavier spring in. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I believe that it's 17 lbs(I could be wrong though)I took it out this morning and fired 100 rounds of old DT 135 grn and 180 grn.The gun ran great, but with the warmer ammo and the stock RSA the brass had dings on it from the ejector, the 20 lb spring cured the dings, but I'll need a aftermarket bbl to keep the brass in a little better shape for reloading I'm thinking.Overall I'm really happy with it. |

Do you mind taking a picture of the case support in the barrel? Just curious if they've changed the 10mm barrels as much or at all due to the changes in the 40s. Here's a comparison but I'm not sure how old this barrel is:

That does look pretty good compared to the old ones. The brass looks a lot better than it did with my stock bbl in the Gen3 20 I had.I kind of wish I hadn't sold it so I could compare the two.I'm sure the aftermarket bbls have a slightly tighter chamber which would probably extend the life of the brass, but I really don't know for sure.I'll probably only load the hot rounds in virgin brass anyway. |
