Alright. I will admit I"m not the most knowledgeable guy when it comes to Glocks. So I was wondering what you guys could tell me about this new Glock I purchased. First of all it is brand new never fired except at the factory. It appears to come from a
set. The slide is marked Defense Set 1 or 2. It is a Glock 19 with a Gen 2 frame. No light rail, no finger bumps on the grip and it's a 2 pin frame. I just called Glock because I heard there were updates to be done on all Gen 2 pistols. Something about a 6 point
check-up or something. Well he said it has all the up to date parts. It has a AAA01?? serial number. I bought this pistol for $400 and it came with 2 15rd mags. Which I though was a good deal considering it was in new shape.

Do you all know what the Defense Set is?

Do you know what upgrades I should do to this pistol?

I know the guiderod isn't the  one marked with a 1 on it and it's plastic of course.

Glock issued the Defense Set circa mid-1990's and consisted of either a G19/G26 or G23 /G27 pistols.
