So I'm trading a guy for his gen 3 G19 and I'll be mainly shooting hot handloads. I know the stock guide rod spring won't take the beating too well from +P or +P+ loads. Question is what weight replacement do I go with? BTW, I'll be swapping out the guide rod at the same time.

| I've only ever replaced with the OEM spring and only because I wanted to. It never malfunctioned, strictly for level of comfort for me. I think you'll be with the OEM spring for +P loads. The spring is fairly tough and after all how many +P loads do you plan on using? |
