I hope I'm not the only one who has done this. I finally got to the range to shoot my g26. I shot the first mag, no problem. Without thinking I ejected the empty mag, grabbed the next mag, slammed it home and OUCH! seeing that my hand is wider than the g26 grip frame is long. I pinched my palm between the mag and grip frame. I gave myself 2 nasty blood blisters with one popping open. needless to say the rest of the mags were inserted slower and me making sure my palm was out of the way. It never crossed my mind till I did it.

Done it on several guns, never bad enough to bleed though

doesn't look as bad today as it did at the range, I had to stop shooting because I was getting blood on everything.
the wife can vouch for me, she heard me hollar, I told her what happen and she called me a retard.

Try some slow reloads when you dry fire at home then work your way up to being faster.

I've never had this happen but it sounds painful. When I reload I usually rotate the pistol and keep the muzzle pointed up so that I am actually looking into the mag well and can guide in the magazines.

I got bit by a 1911 once. I was using stock 7rnd mags (flush fit).

I started buying only mags with a slam pad/bumper, after that.

I broke skin Sunday at an IDPA match with my G34. I was just doing a quick reload and it pinched me good.

There are 2 kinds of subcompact Glock owners - those who have been pinched, and those who will be.

Sounds like a self correcting problem.  Anyway as much as I like my 26, this is one of the reasons that unless you actually ankle carry or pocket carry a 26, the 19 is just a little bigger and better.

Yep if your not getting pinched your not doing it right!

The GAP floorplates do help. But even still I will pinch when doing fast reloads. It's a G26/27 thing.

Welcome to the wonderful world of auto pistols.  You ought to see guys at the end of a 1911 match where bumper pads are not permitted!

Had it happen once early on in a instructor recert. Blood blister and all. Had to shoot he rest of the two days with hand bugging me.
