I got weak today and fell off the wagon   - in terms of no more Glocks for a while....not that you can ever have too many...lol.  Anyhow, I fell in love with a little 2-yr old 27 at the "orphanage" (what a friend of mine calls the LGS).  Although I had kinda vowed to not get any more 40SWs due to recoil and my wrist condition, I could not leave the little fellow there among all the newborns.  The reason this one snared my heart was the finish and serial number.  It's part of the initial TALO EXO editions from March, 2011.  I recall when they came out and thinking - why pay for an unnessary improvement to perfection?  Oh well, 2 years later and several Glocks later, I could not leave it there for $599 which included the box, papers, trijicons and the added crimson trace....not when new gen3 standard 27s are selling for $640 & up in my neck of the woods.  As for the recoil & my wrist, like my 23 - will just learn to tame it & deal with it.  All in all, a good day!

It's got CTlasergrips too!?!? That's not too bad 'a deal. I may find that in the future I 'need' a subcompact Glock. (just so I have the small, medium, and large)

ETA; Talo EXO ? Is that one with the high tech slide finish?

I decided I had enough Glocks, but now I'm getting a G17L and a G35.

No, not a bad deal....but, take into consideration that my LGS probably sold it to me for as much or more (minus the CT laser) when it was new in 2011....that tempered my excitement a bit.  However, such are the days in which we live with the world's greatest gun salesman in history still residing in the White House.

Yep, that's the finish they called EXO but now it seems to have changed to "NIBX" on the new ones.  I don't know what the difference could be - probably none at all.  It's kind of a dull or matte stainless look to it.  I wasn't real crazy about it when it first came out in 2011 - still not really sold on it - but could not pass up the deal with the CT included.  Without the laser, I likely would have passed on it unless of course the price had been something unreal like $450.  Anyhow, happy to add it to the family (my 7th Glock child adoption) notwithstanding the snappy recoil that I've grown accustomed to on my 23.
