Do any of yah'll find that the back strap on a Gen 3 Glock causes irritation to your palm?

I am shooting a Gen 3 Glock 27.

I help a stippled Glock today at the gun show and it was very comfortable. When I hold my G27 for any extended period of time my hand get pretty irritated.

And if your thinking of calling me a pussy, tell me something I don't already know

My wife complains about the checkering irritating her hands, too.  After trying different guns, bicycle tire tube, etc., we ended up just getting her a pair of gloves.

I had that issue, then I had grip reductions done on my guns and bam problem went away.

I've used Agrip on all my Glocks for years now.  Recently started using Wilson tennis racket tape, and I really like the feel of the soft, padded racket tape!

The checkering is what gets me too, but I will not be wearing gloves. I may look into a grip reduction/stippling.

The Agrip looks cool too.

I like Agrip, but the Wilson racket tape is a lot cheaper, and feels great.  Both don't slip when wet.

As aready mentioned, bicycle innertube is a cheap and very effective solution.

I have it on several guns.

Might be worth a shot.

(I was recommended to check bike shops for cheap used ones meant for the trash, or a new one is only 'bout $5 and will last a LONG while)

Here's my G17 with the "standard" Wilson grip tape.  Also did my new 22/45 Target, but used a heavier Wilson grip tape that has ribs.  I think I like the ribs better, but they both feel a lot better than nekked plastic.

Have you tried shaving the hair off your palm?  That worked for me.

I wasn't aware that I had hair on my palm. Am I missing something here ?
