Where are they? I'm not going to pay $800+ for one..

Does anyone know where/who?

Thanks,
Grant

That price is ridiculous. FDE glocks are the same price as the black ones here locally: $499.98

To bad they don't ship. But just know the price is the same and they are out there. Also, hydro-dip is amazing especially with all the patterns available. before I spend $800 on a fde glock I would have mine dipped in skulls, digital camo or FDE for $120. Hydro dip takes sandblasting to remove it.

Well there is one here in AZ

I'm not sure they are still making them...?

As far as I know Lipseys had Glock do two runs: the first one was last April which sold out and then another run of them in Sept or October which was a much much bigger order.

They must be still making them or have a huge over flow of old ones. It seems my LGS always has at least 2 or 3 in stock and been that way for the last few years.

I still say hydro dip it how you want it to look.

Yeah I was considering dipping/coating/baking, etc...

I'm in NC and there is not a FDE Glock to be found.

Thanks fellas...

Be patient. They are supposed to be released soon. Keep checking with your gun store and make sure they are in contact with Lipseys who is the exclusive distributor.

I emailed lipseys before the craziness and they said march/April for the next batch. Some still sneak there way out though

I just picked up a Gen 3 G17 in FDE.
To be honest, don't understand all the excitement over a color.

So this is to be a production pistol now? Last I heard, they were limited to 2500 units (in two runs) through Lipsey's, with the last run being back in September.

Picked up both of these gems in the last month. Paid under 500$ for each. OD G17, FDE G19.

I'm on the lookout for an FDE G19 myself.

I lucked out and snagged an FDE G22 Gen-4 just before Christmas. Finally got out this weekend to shoot it and - wow - what a great shooting pistol. I hung a Streamlight TLR-3 on the front and I think the added weight really makes getting back on target quicker.

Kick-ass.

Get a reduced weight recoil spring and a tungsten guide rod. I have a tungsten guide rod and a 15lb recoil ol spring on my G35....AMAZING.

I've seen more than my fair share of Glocks fail simply due to people adding tungsten and titanium parts or the latest and greatest tacticool item. Unless you are sure of what you are doing and the reasoning behind why you are doing it I would leave the gun in factory configuration with the exception of the sights.

Nothing quite like standing at the firing line and seeing the idiot next to you keep dropping his mag out of his G21 every other shot because he added an extended mag release

Cheers

Do they have the blue label glocks available in FDE? I'd love a FDE gen 3 G17. I find the FDE with black grip tape is a very attractive look.

I was wondering this also. I am about an FDE, but am spoiled on blue labels.

Check Cabelas if you have one nearby, I picked mine up brand new in the beginning of January for $519.99, didn't think they'd carry them much less after the panic but they had several gen 3/4 G19/G17

Rock out with your Glocks out!

I domt think there are any out there right now outside of gunbroker. In the past i've used Google image search and have come up with better results than a standard web search. Just look for the pix that look like product images for online stores.
