| I have only run a handful of reloads through my 34 so far, but I've yet to have any issues. Are you sure the reloads are loaded to the proper length? I know a guy who loaded some a little long, and they wouldn't cycle properly. Even though the 19 will eat them, they could still be a little out of tolerance. You might also try again after the 34 is a little more "broken in". |
| to get the best accuracy out of your G34 try a 147grain bullet... if you put aftermarket sights on it, you will probably need a fairly tall front sight ... I had to go to a .280" tall Dawson to get my G34 to point of aim with a Heinie Slant Pro rear... mine is a Gen 3 but I use a fairly heavy 17# spring with a full length stainless guide rod |

I do know that I want to get some new sights and the factories are not set up the way I like to shoot. I have to cover the bull with the entire front post to get anywhere near the X. I prefer a six o'clock hold so I can see what the heck I'm doing. I guess he sight height is trial and error? I will run some hot 147 grainers through it and see how it runs.....might just need broke in some more. This factory double spring is soooooo stiff, I think it would hold up the hood on my Chevy. |

The ammo is WAY more suspect than the pistol.
If the ammo wasn't intense enough to cycle the gun, then there's your sign. If the powder used to make the ammo was temperature sensitive, and therefore not intense enough to cycle the gun, the there's your sign. Simply put: it worked with several kinds of factory ammo, but didn't work consistently with Gomer's Shade Tree reloads. There's your sign. |

G34 Gen4 here, too, with the whole range of Glock 9s in Gen3.
It just wants hotter ammo. Way more than every other model needs to run with their stock springs. I had to load hotter and clip the recoil spring, and the cases are just dribbling out now. 147 FMJ @ 920 fps. |
....scratch that one from your list. Also, the G19 runs perfect with those reloads.
