Numbers don't lie. Polls are numbers. Let's see what the poll says.
Vote only if you have used KCI mags you own in your Glock: - If your KCI mags have been reliable, vote "Yes, they are reliable" - If your KCI mags have been unreliable, vote "No, they are not reliable" If they have been unreliable please post what issue you've had (misfeed, etc...), caliber and mag capacity. Finish issues such as mold marks or stiff springs don't apply to this poll. Whether factory Glock mags are better than KCI mags and how much better they are doesn't apply either. The poll only addresses reliability. |

I have 30 of them and all have been just fine. The springs are just a touch weaker than glock but they have been ok. They are all I use for practice at the range. I will say that I have 3, 33 round 9mm mags and they would not work 100% because of weak springs. I replaced then with wolf extra power springs and they are 100% now. |
| I had my 1st failure this weekend with the 31rd Glock 22 .40 mag. Each time at around the 25th rd I had a failure to feed. The round got stuck on the feed ramp trying to get into the chamber. Could not rack, had to eject the mag & then the round fell out & then I was able to put the mag back in & continue. I only have the 1 mag. About the 10th time I have used it. |
| While they have always fed my g19/17s fine, i did have one KCI mag (g17 mag) spontaneously erupt while sitting loaded on a table. The spring tension of a loaded mag caused the base to split sending the spring and follower shooting out the tube and 9mm ammo rolling across the table and on to the ground. I have never considered carrying the kci mags, this occurrence confirmed my belief in keeping them restricted to range/practice use only. |

Needs more pie. I'd like to vote to see the results but don't want to vote for one of the options that will skew the results. Just uncase I want to purchase some I'd like to know what the consensus is. If you'd like to simply view the results of a poll, click the VOTE button without selecting any options. This will show the results WITHOUT skewing the bar-graph, as explained here. |

Attention:
here is the trick with getting these mags to work 100% step 1. disassemble them step 2. get liquid plumber dry film lubricant step 3. wear gloves, and apply the dry film lubricant to the inside of the magazines step 4. let it dry and reapply a second coat step 5 reassemble them and now they work 100% |
