I've got a box of old magazines I've picked up here and there over the years that I've listed on EE.
Problem is, I've got two Glock mags that are obviously not OEM Glock mags but I don't know who makes them. No markings anywhere on the body, follower, or floor plate. It looks like they have black steel lining. No witness ports. Single mag catch. Only other thing I've got going for it is that it's in some sort of factory packaging. It's basically just a clear bag. The part number is GLO 19 and has a UPC code on it. If pictures will help, I can do that. I don't guess it's really that important, especially since it's not Glock OEM, but I'm just curious. |

I bought a G19 2 years ago that "didn't work." It came with 7 magazines like you described, and 2 factory 10 rounders, and a single Glock 15 rounder. I replaced the recoil spring and cleaned it and gave it to my girlfriend, along with two brand new G19 mags and two new G17 mags. It has been absolutely flawless with the standard factory mags, but the off brand magazines are absolute shit mags.
I painted the off brand G19 mags baby blue and told her they were training mags. She used them when we took the Tactical Response Fighting Pistol and AFP classes, and she had to clear a lot more malfunctions than anyone else. The off brand Glock mags are literally worthless as anything but training mags. I said training, not practice. The mags would cause FTFeed at least three times per 15 rounds. Asian mags are amazing compared to the off brand mags. |

I recall such mags during the AWB. Curious as I never seen them before the AWB, just during. Probably made in violation of the AWB and sold at gun shows as "pre-ban". I mean who's going to prove otherwise? this would explain the lack of witness holes. i think you're on to something here. tag for interest |
