I have 5 Glock 22 mags that I'm thinking about selling/trading. 1 is a factory drop free (cant tell if its preban) and 4 marked law enforcement .....
What the heck is a decent price for these? I know there are plenty for sale but didn't know if these are worth anymore or less with the LE markings or if I can even sell them. |
| $20 is only a decent price for new IMO, I usually buy used glock mags for $12-14, I would never pay over $15 for a used one. That's just me thoug, some people seem to be happy to pay more for used mags then new ones. You should do some checking to see if one is a pre ban though, they are worth a premium to folks in ban states, $40-50 shipped is a common price. |
| Most prebans should have a rounded cutout at the top rear of the magazine. If the cut out has squared off corners it is postban. There was one model of magazine that was between the rounded notch (preban) and squared notch (post ban). That model of mag had a notch with angled corners and I believe was preban. I just recently bought 4 prebans through this site for $20 each, what I and others here consider a fair price for preban mags. Used regular post ban mags should go for about $12-$15 each and up shipped. These prices and this info is from my recent expiernece on this site buying pre ban/postban Glock magazines. I just bought a post ban G30 mag here through the EE for $10 shipped. There is a thread here somewhere in the last month or so with pictures of the differnert models of Glock magazines and shows what to lokl for to determine if the magazine is pre ban or post ban....Good luck and I hope you don't try to hold up a member unlucky enough to be trapped "behind eneny lines"....<><....:) |
