A friend of mine just purchase a used Glock 21sf.  He got the one with the ambidextrous mag release.  I'd read these had problems and as soon as we tried it out, we experianced exactly what I read..The mag has trouble locking in, and then it's extreamly hard to press release to remove mag..Somewhere I read Glock was replacing these frames with frames with the "normal" mag release..Would they replace his eventhough he is not the original owner?  Or if anyone has found a fix to this problem, will you please share what the problem is and the solution..

Other than that ....wow! That gun is awsome...Super accurate!..

Thanks
Rick

I had mine replaced by Glock and they didn't even ask if I was the original owner.  They should take care of you.

Had the same experience- they swapped it for the non ambi  (and non picatinny) frame. took about 5 weeks.

Glock didn't ask if I was the original owner either.  The replacement went smooth for me.

I really don't know what Glock was thinking when they designed that ambidextrous magazine release.  The release on the Gen 4 is much better.
