G30 http://www.glock.com/english/glock30_tech.htm

G36 http://www.glock.com/english/glock36_tech.htm

Will give you all the details!

I have each and love them both.  The G36 is appreciably smaller in the hand even if it doesn't seem to be on paper.

Doesn't seem like but it does feel a lot different ...
I have owned both and kept the G36 for CHL...just hides easier and rides more comfortably all day long

The two posts above nail it.

Look at it this way the g36 is pretty much as thin again as the difference betwixt the 45/10mm frame vs the 9mm/40

The numbers don't portrayed the difference in feel on the hip and hand.

The Glock 30 is a chunk of a gun but it is easily carried and will take G21 mags all day long. This will be heavier but you also get more rounds.

The G36 is actually a tiny bit thinner than a G19 I believe but will still fit in most G19 holsters. Less mass and weight so it carries easier but the trade off is in the round count, I believe they are just 6+1 not a big deal if you ask me but sometimes I just want more rounds. And the G36 will only take the G36 mags so no versatility like most other Glock models but in turn you get a very concealable .45.

Problem is, I love them both and can't decide which one I would want so I haven't got one yet

I have both and will sometimes carry the G30 OWB, 99% of the time I carry the G36 IWB.

Two very different animals. The G30 felt like holding a brick (to me) and while the G36 did fit my hand much better, I couldn't justify the round count trade-off when compared to my G19. YMMV

If you have a big hand, the G30 will fit rock solid, and not move around under recoil.
