I don't here much talk about the G 36, does anyone have one?
Thinking about getting one, just like to find out what people that have one thinks.
Thanks.

I had one and went to the 30, the 36 was just to short for the .45 for me. I did not feel like the ergonomics were good.  Just my perception.

The 36 caught my eye, the 21 feels like a 2x4 in my hands.
Just never here any talk about it.

Why not one in 10mm?

Because GLOCK doesn't make a single stack 10mm, but oh how I would love to have one.

I have a GLOCK 36, and I love it.  I carry it a lot.  Pocket carry works great for loose pants with generous pockets.

I've carried a G36 for about 6 years daily.  Never had a problem with it very reliable.

The slide on a 36 is the same width as a 19.

I have a G36, perfect carry size for a 45ACP.

GLOCK 36

In true AR15 style.

I have two, consecutive numbered G36s and CCW one of them.
Edit:Found a pic with both.

Carrying a semi-auto with revolver-like mag capacity, with no higher-capacity mags available just doesn't appeal to me.  I'd much prefer the G26 that I carry daily...carried a G30 for years, prior to wising up and getting the G26.

If Glock would make a 10mm the same size as the 36 I'd be ALL over it.

I have one and like it a lot, but don't carry it much since I aquired a G26.  I like that I can leave a pile of G19 mags around that will work in either of my carry guns.
I still like it and do carry from time to time, don't feel out-gunned it's just the convenience of same caliber and same mags accross multiple handguns.  I did just pick up a couple extra G36 mags, so it may find more time in the rotation.

As for why you don't hear much about it, I would guess most people feel 7 rounds is not enough without high capacity backups.  Many don't see the caliber advantage and focus on round count.
YMMV

Same here. Plus I can shoot my 26 and 27 much better. I sold my 36 years ago.

I got one this year and I like it but I still prefer my 27. I think they should have went with a 26/27 barrel length and have a flat bottom mag. I know it would be one round less but it would be better concealment.

I had one and loved it.  VERY small and easy to conceal, with Glock reliability.

The problem was it was my only handgun, and it was a bear to practice with because it was so light and had so much blast/recoil.  So I moved to a 1911, then to 9mm Glocks.  Still have the 1911.

With the mag extensions the 36 feels just like a 19 and will fit in (all of my) G19 holsters, so that was bonus for me. There are a few out there that just don't run though. I had one and know a few others that did too. Getting glock to fix one of those is damn near impossible. Maybe they've got them sorted out now because my new one is flawless but I still have one in the safe that they won't fix and I can't ethically sell. I love them but I'm not sure I would buy another without trying it out first (my first couldn't finish a mag without 1 or 2 FTE's). I have a 30 too but that slight diff in width seems huge to me and I think the 36 is about the perfect CCW.

I have a 36..and it is a great, single stack, slim .45ACP.   If you want a single stack .45 ACP, you will enjoy it.

I picked up a Glock 36 about a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. I have been carrying mine in a Galco Yaqui belt slide holster, but I would like to get a high ride, pancake style rig for it.....

Same here, and for about the same amount of time too.

I use the same holsters for my 19s, 23, and 36.
