I think is is how you hold your mouth.  I have shot multiple rounds form my 2000 model G23 with an X200 with no issues.

Would a lighter recoil spring not fix problems with a G22+light?

I havent had any issues at all with my 31 with TLR1.  I do have the stainless guide rod but havent had any malfunctions of any kind.  I also have a LWD 9mm conversion barrel and have shot every 9mm I can get my hand on including Tula without incident.

What are the  problems that can  occur when using a light with the G22/23

Are there other brands that  are affected?

It's supposedly a non-issue now, as Glock has "fixed" the problem with an updated follower and magazine springs. Also, finger tighten the mounting screw for the light, and that works as well.

Shot many rounds through both a G22 and G23 with a M3 light.  Seen many students do the same.

I'm going to go with "none" now. A lot of JSO running around with lights on G22s. And JSO don't have any problems with their guns working.

(Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Florida, that is.)

My early '12 G19 with upgraded Gen 4 ejector would stovepipe every other magazine with my x300 attached.  When it wasn't attached it appeared to run fine.

I've since remedied it with a LWD .40 extractor in conjunction with the Gen 4 ejector.
