| Any opinions on the ameriglo 2 dot sights? I have a new 3d Gen G19 that needs some low light sights and I have been wanting to try them out. Any opinions are welcome, and thanks in advance!! |

I have had a set on order for two months now. Dunno if they are that backlogged or if I just ordered it from the wrong place.
If they ever get here, I will let you know how they are. EDIT: You motivated me to call and see what was going on. Sights were on backorder from the supplier. According to the customer service rep, Ameriglo had some sort of manufacturing problem that was causing backlog and Ameriglo is starting to ships sights again. I bought them from Mounts Plus and they just received a shipment of sights from Ameriglo yesterday and he is going to make sure my order goes out today. WOOHOO! They were the cheapest place I found them and I see if you are a first time customer of theirs, they are giving you an extra 5% off on top of it (use code MSP05) |
| They are not bad. I run a set on my G23 and they are just fine. I like the Ameriglo CAP sights better though and have a set of those on my Gen 4 23. Just picked up a Gen 4 19 and will be putting the CAP sights on it. I prefer the big green square as it is easier for me to pick up over the single dot on the Idot sights that you are asking about. I know they make a pro version of the Idot sights, but decided against trying them just due to price. I.m sure they would be just as effective as the CAP sights. You won't go wrong with the Idots, but I'm moving away from them because I prefer the CAp sights. |

After having Trijicon HDs on my previous Sig duty weapon I really liked the orange outlined front sight. I first came across AmeriGlo IDOT PROs at a local LE Supply.store and gave them a shot. Ive since added them to my primary 31, backup 32,.fiances 19 and my newly purchased 21SF. Im sold on them.
Very easy and fast to pick up in all conditions. |
