I've searched here and other places but can't find a release date or any hints about when the apex extractor is coming out.  After seeing the videos I am definitely interested in one.  Anyone know when they are coming out or if it is possible to pre order one?

It's a new extractor for certain Glock 9mm models to correct a problem so pervasive in gen 4 9mm's that an aftermarket company has to fix Glock's problem.

Who knows? Apex is a small company, I have been waiting for a long time  for their M&P9 barrels.  I have an M&P9 at Apex right now for some other work.

Last that I heard was that they are out with beta testers and are collecting results.  No release date posted yet.

But the kool-aide drinkers assured me it was a problem limited to a tiny fraction of new production Glocks.

Wonder what they will say when the Apex extractor is released and backordered for 6-12 months?

OP,  a beta tester on another forum said Apex is shooting for September for the release.

Apparently, you have information contrary to the Kookaiders who allege that the problem isn't widespread?  What's your source??  Good luck to Apex and other small businesses!! Hope they're successful in marketing their new extractors.

My Glock works. I think most of it is people limp wristing and shooting crap ammo. There are defiantly Gen 4s out there with problems though.

The Apex kit will be sold out. It's a small company and a lot of people think they have a problematic Gen4. Or they just want the cool new gear.

It'll be interesting to see how the new "no dip" Glock extractors compare with the Apex Tactical ones.

I've got two early G17Gen4's, a G19Gen4 and a G26Gen4. No issues as far as function for me. I haven't observed the ejection pattern but also haven't had brass to the face,

I did pick up a few of the new no-dip Glock OEM extractors and I'll see how they work the next time I get to the range.

Yup. If they are out of stock, just put them on backorder and they'll ship when Midway gets a new batch from Glock.

FYI, Midway, Brownells and several other distributors are selling extractors that may be dip or non-dip. The all have the same part number, it just depends what batch they get in.

Thanks,I just sent off my new gen 3 19 to Glock to see what they think,if it's still not fixed when I get it back I'll be looking for the old style one or the Apex one.I've already installed the new ejector,so I'll be curious to see what,if anything they can do to fix it.

It looks awesome. Frankly, I like that they've sent out a ton of them into the field for beta testing and seem to be really doing the leg work to get it up to snuff.

I love the ergos of the new GEN4 and still think you can't beat a Glock trigger in terms of stock DAO pistols.
