I thought I had posted in a thread about that a few months ago but I couldn't find it. My Gen 3 RTF2 G17 has a date of Feb. 2010 and I haven't had any problems with it. A couple of cases hit my wife on the forearm when she was shooting it but I haven't noticed anything more than that.

I have 6 Gen 3's from two G21s and aG20 to a G17 and none have ever had any problems at all. I have lots of friends with Gen3's and none of them have had any problems I would rather have a Gen 3 over a Gen 4 myself.

I should have mentioned my G17 has a NSS serial number.

I believe most of the problems began with the P prefix pistols

Started withn "M" prefix. And not coincidentily about the time of the rollout of the Gen 4. My theory is they are deficately related.

Some of the M prefix Glocks have had problems.  The majority having ejection problems are P, Q, R, and S prefix.

A member here had a gun with SUX prefix that displayed the problem.  My SAK (as in sack of shit) prefix had problems until installing the 30274 ejector.  Ejection is better but still really weak.  I guess I'll look at the serial more carefully next time I buy a new handgun

I have a Gen 3 G17 with "SEY xxx"

It came with the extractor with the dip. I got brass ejected straight back at me a little too often.

Luckily, I had a couple extractors on hand, with no "dip," and it instantly solved the issue.

The pistol is probably over 3000 rounds or so, all with zero malfunctions. It just had a shitty extractor in it for a very short while.

I have a PSU, and it's been perfect for at least a few thousand rounds. G19.

I recently purchased a new gen 3 G19 prefix SVX. Have not shot it yet, hope to get ot the range next week some time and run some rounds thru it. The ejector is marked 336.

I looked at the ejector on my G17 last night, it's the 336.

Yep, my 19 is a NLR prefix.

No issues at all.

It stovepiped ONCE (in 5 or 6000 rounds) with some of my verrrry anemic paper-punching handloads. That's an ammo issue, not the G19.
