| It seems to be a fairly recent change, as in last couple years. I think it happened around the time that the Gen4s were coming out, or closely thereafter. I've got a Gen3 G22 with NYL serial number prefix made in June 2010 that has the cutout and a Gen3 G35 with RBU serial number prefix made in October 2011 that does not. |
